Story (9/10):I consider the story to be cliche, but very good. The story has it's serious parts and then adds on the comedic relief. Yao Xian your main character, used to be a genius 3 years before the start of the manhua. From then and til now he loses his qi or he's depleted of his qi. This makes people bully the once profound Yao Xian since in the world he lives in believes that the weak can only live at the whim of the strong.
Art (9/10): The art may seem a little outdated in the first 1-2 chapters but when chapter 3 starts the art is muchhh better and continues this way. Also, it's in color which most manhuas have, which makes it so much better.
Character (10/10): I really like the characters in this manhua. The main character especially, he is not your typically main character. He is a character that forgives those who have torment him in the past even if they were super dicks. Once they see him with power though.. Oh man, you'll love it. Furthermore, he is a character willing to fight to the death and does not allow disrespect towards his clan. He backs up his words with actual fists. Now the villians, i think they are great. The villians must be very good since the author makes me hate them so much.
Enjoyment (10/10): I enjoy this manhua a lot, I check websites daily to see if a new translated chapter is out. Something about this manhua makes me to keep on reading real bad. I mean i've even asked my friends if they can read chinese, so that they can teach me for this manhua(to catch up to the raw chapters).
Overall (10/10): This manhua is a great read and you should read it right now.

Being a fan of the battle shōnen type of manga, Fights Break Sphere certainly seemed worth a try, especially when taking into account the amount of positive reviews for the series. Although it certainly has some good moments, the manhua is rather disappointing as a whole, mainly due to the main character himself, as well as the main story in addition to the later part of the series. Allow me to elaborate.
The premise of the series is nothing revolutionary: a genius fighting prodigy who suddenly loses all his powers. Much to his dismay, a powerful spirit who possess him explains him the very reason for it: Yao, the spirit, needed it to materialise himself. Not only that, his fiancée shows up only to tell him that she'll only marry stronger fighters than her. Left with no options, the protagonist Xiao trains with the spirit to regain his lost powers.
The main story revolves around the young Xiao regaining his powers, while simultaneously displaying the setting itself, an ancient China, where society is divided into clans. The world has the need of powerful people, the Dou, who are actually quite similar to super saiyans and alchemists. This is because of the monsters that inhabit: dragons, medusa, you name it. The main story is nicely executed with its share of dark moments as well as more light-hearted ones, nicely balancing the two. It also has a somewhat consistent power level, meaning characters are not suddenly stronger should the case present itself. Sadly, after completing the main goal of the manhua, it degenerates into a generic piece with the usual school setting. Furthermore, any logic behind the power levels were just thrown out to stretch out the manhua. Now it must be said that it delves further into some of the loose threads, which is naturally a good thing.
One important characteristic of such type of works are the battles; these are certainly intriguing and have logical causes as well as consequences. However, these are quite tensionless because of one glaring flaw of the manhua: the protagonist obtains his powers way too easily and is thus constantly overpowering everyone without seemingly any effort whatsoever. Even when comparing it with numerous other works that have similar characteristics, it is way overdone. Naturally, power levels are showcased where Dou measures ones strength and gives an according title. It must be noted that gaining power is pretty much done as anyone would play a RPG.
Concerning the characters of Fights Break Sphere, these are generic and there is not really any interesting character to look out for. The protagonist Xiao is the usual stereotype of a nice and unbelievably handsome man who is the strongest of all. Not much character development can be seen from him, as he hardly changes throughout the story. The only one who could be considered intriguing would be Yao, but that is mainly because of his mysterious background as well as his seemingly unending knowledge. There are also a lot of other minor characters, but these are as a whole rather uninteresting, mainly serving to display the power of the protagonist, often left forgotten.
As for the art style, it is what is to be expected of a manhua, and it serves its purpose: detail is sacrificed in favour of colouring the chapters. Design of the characters in nothing outstanding, which could be said about the backgrounds as well. Regardless, the battles are well portrayed to the reader, giving a sense of the magnitude of the powers, as well as having a smooth progression between the different panels.
Fights Break Sphere was as a whole an enjoyable read, albeit nothing impressive. It clearly waned in quality towards the end with the introduction of a fighting school, in addition to the overpowered main character that left the battles rather tensionless. Regardless, readers who are in favour of the genre will get an enjoyable experience, but they won't find anything outstanding.
Thank you for reading.

FBS is a Manhua that I stumbled on while searching for a manga with a strong protagonist. It's true that the protagonist, Yan Xiao was strong at the start. He was even strong enough to be called a genius but unfortunately he losses all of his powers so that even dogs can look down on him.
Story: 7/10
---
The story is quite enjoyable but the reason I gave it a 7 is because some parts is kind of predictable. While things ain't 100% predictable a lot of things are. But let's skip that and go into the story now.
FBS is an action, fantasy manhua and quite a good one at that. It's about Yan Xiao and his struggle to become stronger. And things isn't easier when you are the son of a clan leader and so weak that even the servants look down on you. But while this is an action manhua it also has romance in it but the romance is also the thing that is the most predictable in this whole story. But that doesn't mean that it's bad, truthfully I actually enjoy the few romance moments it has. (Things I say from now on happens in the first chapter so it's a mild spoiler.) I guess you could say that it's also a harem but I won't really count it as a harem cause Yan has absolutely zero interest in other girls except Dai Er. And Dai Er also has feelings for Yan so you already knows who he will end up with in the end.
FBS also uses a special ranking system for how powerful you are. It's mostly something like Dou Hurr Durr but it's gives you a general though for how powerful one's enemy are so it's a plus.
I recommend this manhua to everyone that wants a manga with an interesting and unique story.
Art: 8/10
----
The art is good but not great. This manhua has a very simplistic style but yet very detailed. And the fact that every page is colored is a big plus for me.
I think that because it's colored it's giving of a vibe that's it's a bit childish but it's really not, it's actually kind of bloody and people would be classed as psychopaths if they were in our world so it's not childish it's just giving of that vibe.
But other than that it's well drawn and the art is a lot like other manhua so if you like almost any other manhua you'll properly like this one as well.
Character: 6/10
----
While the other points may be good, I think that their personality's suck from time to time. I sometimes think that it's child that's fighting to the death instead of an adult. One second they are all serious like 'You destroyed my whole clan! I shall now kill you for revenge!' then in the middle of the fight it's proved that s/he didn't destroy the clan, but the guy just ignores it and continues to fight because of his ego. I don't have much more to say other than that their personality's needs more improvement.
Enjoyment: 9/10
----
I gave enjoyment a 9 because it's so freaking thrilling to read even though their personality suck. I don't know if it has anything to do with that I love OP protagonist's and love to see them train to become the strongest but anyway I must say that it's a really good manhua for me to enjoy it this much.
And sometimes I even go back to read the epic moments and then it's really good. Since I'm a guy that usually don't bother with stuff like that. But the reason I didn't give it a 10 is because of everyone's personality's. I mean some of them must have an IQ of zero. But this manhua is still one of my favorites so I really think you should give it a try at least.
Overall: 7/10
----
As a wrap up, the story is unique and it's really enjoyable but the character's has flaws so that is a minus but the art is really beautiful and detailed so that's a plus and at least we have the enjoyment and that's a big plus in overall.
So I think you should at least read the first 5 chapters before you judge it.

You'd think it would sway and degrade its quality as the story progress. Usually that's how I observe manga such as this. But no, I assure you it will not go that way.
This is all about a boy that learned a valuable lesson, a harsh but important necessity for an individual to grow. Surely, most of the scent of the story is the usual scent you smell from overrated boy love girl, meets another girl, then another, but I find myself hungry to this scent. The engagement of new characters, in which clearly defines each one of them, every dialogue exists with the purpose to convey and not to lengthen, and the powers the hero learns as time passes by is met with harsh training and difficult lessons, even this hero is a genius.
It follows the ranking of power well. Who is stronger and who is not. Many times, I am disappointed by the always existent came-from-the-dead routine just to make the story/encounter/fight-scene interesting. I did not find this on Doupo. A close call with reason and the limits of body, as expressed by the progressing of the fight.
I should mention that the jump of stories, from this scene to the next setting, is what made me feel wanting to go on reading.
ps. This is a kind of harem, which I find unpalatable to my taste, though it was interesting enough to bypass this fault.
burp!
